Reid Habenicht

A different way to think about money and life.

Hi! I'm Reid Habenicht and this is my new blog, newsletter, publication... whatever you want to call it. Basically, I just write about my thoughts and opinions on different topics including finances, cars, or really anything that peaks my interest.

Why would you listen to me? Well. I've been blessed enough to not fall into the trap of victim mentality and also avoid the hustle culture that consumes most algorithms for ambitious young people. That's a very difficult thing because you'll run into plenty of people who blame everyone but themselves for everything but on the other end of the spectrum, you'll find people who say that if you're not working 80 hours a week, you don't really want it. My mentality is centered around a true balance of enjoying the life that you're living and taking accountability for the positions that you find yourself in.

Where has that led me? This mentality has led me to build a life where I generally don't have to worry about money and I also live a fulfilling life with flexibility. Money doesn't buy happiness but it does buy freedom to do what you want, and that is what I think people should be aiming for.
